How to add tags to Google Calendar events

More often than not, a calendar’s title does not make it easy to see what the meeting is about. There’s often no standardization on the titles and clicking through to the details or participants can be a hassle. This usually means you only get to know once the event is coming up.

In Gmail, there are “Labels” which allows the user to label and highlight emails with appropriate info. This along with defined categorisation rules, helps make identifying incoming emails much easier.

In the same vein, wouldn’t it be nice if one could add tags to a Google Calendar event to indicate what the event is about?

With Meeting Dolphin’s extension “Calendar Tagging” feature, it is easy to add tags to events. Simply install the extension, create the tags you are interested in then drag and drop tags onto your events. Voilà!
